17 Sep 2023 - What a day we had! Finally things calmed down sufficiently weather-wise, that I was able to do a brief excursion on my personal deck. The surroundings are still familiar, but the wind made a shambles of things (I am very glad not to be the literal groundskeeper). The interlopers are slowly recovering lost territory… I’ve seen a few checking for seeds, only to discover that the feeder has been removed. Thankfully my kibble continues to flow, allowing my anxiety level to slowly ebb. Mr. Sol is trying to break through high clouds, and I am rooting for his success.
