31 Mar 2026 - "I played me a waiting game." Isn't that a line from a peep song? I'm guessing the author kept house with a cat because way back in the shadowy past, when we beasties decided to share our time with these bipeds, we had to learn to accommodate a slower way of doing things. It was/is a frustrating compromise but it obviously offered advantages... otherwise we would have purred, "don't call us, we'll call you."

its hard to be patient...Archy was quite insistent I get up this morning, but that might also have been because he upchucked his dinner in the middle of the night....sigh...Hitty is much more patient
