14 Mar 2026 - Is there a cat that doesn't like early mornings? Possibly, but he would be the odd fella. I like to get a jump-start to my day, to determine how Mr. Sol is feeling, to gauge interloper activity, to conduct my first round. And wedged into that busy schedule is encouraging the shorter peep to rise and shine. After all, the portal to my personal screened porch needs to be opened and my breakfast presented. Time is a-wastin'.

Yes, my two are also always chivvying me along in the morning when I try to sleep in (weekends)..is this perhaps also some punishment for me not being able to resist petting a sleeping cat?
