17 Mar 2026 - That pool of warm sunshine would make a fine spot on which to camp out, but I suspect that putting myself even closer to Mr. Sol would be worth the jump up.  Plus a cat always favors the higher position... a bit of elevation helps with surveillance (and better represents a cat's place in the universe).  But I don't want to make a hasty decision, so I'll pause to consider the pros and cons.  There could be scary things, unseen from this vantage, that are waiting for my hop up.  Do I settle for a known landscape or take the risk?
