3 Mar 2026 - Being the domicile guardian isn't very glamorous. Thankfully being attacked by a leviathan or a bigfoot (despite a neighbor's warning sign) isn't high in probability, but I can just picture the headlines: family cat saves the day! Meanwhile I sit quietly and glare, a warning to newbies and to those teenagers who believe the world is theirs for the taking. The universe will quickly enough instruct them otherwise, and I will do my part in their education.

Hitty "saved" me yesterday....Archy and I were snoozing on my bed, when she hopped up and shouldered me out of the way...unexpected behavior from her, until I spotted an interloper standing below my bedroom window! good girl! ....and yes, I then went to scare the dratted thing away
