11 Mar 2026 - You probably can't see the smile on my face, but it's there, even while snoozing.  The last few days have been perfect for toasting myself on my personal screened porch... and so I have... since who knows how long this good fortune will last.  The shorter peep has been joining me for our midday snack, but then she retreats to the cooler interior. Even the interlopers take a break during the hot of the day.  I am made of sturdier (or at least more heat-tolerant) stuff, and love Mr. Sol's efforts.
