12 December 2013 - I may have discovered the reason for that lack of gifts under our tree: the peeps are bagging them up and carting them away! None of the tags in this batch indicated me as the recipient, so I did not intervene further. However this behavior has prompted me to wonder who or what exists out there that would warrant such generosity when clearly my presence (and presents) should be sufficient. Don't think me a scrooge. I am concerned that my peeps' soft heads are being turned by wheedlers: the phone has been ringing a lot of late.

I love wrapping presents with Opus around. He must participate in tearing up paper and chasing paper balls all over. Such a mess to clean up but so much fun to make. Great Christmas spirit.
