10 December 2013 - It really was a playful gesture on my part when I swatted Santa around the rug. Besides, throwing a punch at the stand-in is totally different from an altercation with the real thing, and I feel certain that the Big Guy understands this distinction. No lasting harm was done, and the red suit ultimately found its spot on the tree. I did notice however that the peep chose one of the lower branches for its destination, so we still may have a bit of fun...when no one is looking.
