two in the bush

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

2 December 2013 - My peeps would be amazed to know what wanders past our abode.  They should reassess their priorities to allow hours in the day to just sit motionless by a screen or window.  The shorter peep enjoys watching the beeps, both resident and migratory, and provides sunflower seeds as a pit stop snack.  Yet she misses entire flocks that alight, chatter, and shortly fly away, because she is "busy" elsewhere in the house.  My vigilance should be emulated.  Then there are the larger mammals whose presence in the yard serves as a personal warning.  I do not tangle with any even-legged creature that is larger than I am.  "Watch and wait."  My mom didn't raise a dummy.
