5 June 2014 - What was that I said about being photogenic?  I'm talking about me, not my lap mate who doesn't show well until after that first cup of coffee and morning shower are completed.  I probably could get designation as a service pet (and get to ride on top of the plane seat, rather than under it), but my considerable dignity doesn't like the sound of "service".  With or without the title, I am a desirable commodity for stress reduction and general attitude improvement.  Obviously I am not the only one who is having trouble acclimating to the temperature shift, but my paws are much warmer on his fleece than on the floor.  It's a nice symbiosis.
