16 June 2014 - Sometimes I am the string tied around the finger, other times I am the boat anchor. both in their ways important roles.  In my lifetime I can count on one paw the number of meals missed by the shorter peep; yet sometimes her timeliness lacks.  If she gets caught up in some pressing matter, I often have to provide the visual cue that a break is overdue, that it is time to sit down and eat or that is is time to rise from the computer and stretch the legs.  She doesn't seem to resent my reminding her of what is important in life, and I like to think that I'm looking after her well-being  I know that she will do the same for me.
