"catch as cat can"

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

10 April 2018 - Cats definitely accessorize a library or reading nook.  We will contentedly sit in the lap of a reader for hours (if we are so lucky), and make no further demands.  And if the book is a disappointment, simply put it down, and we will park our hind quarters on its cover and console you with our purrs.  We cats don't play a front-and-center role in literature, perhaps because we aren't the alleged best-friend type.  Historically we are mostly portrayed in the company of a cauldron and broom... such a waste of our potential.  As popular as feline videos are on the internet, I would expect more interest shown us from Hollywood... but the phone hasn't rung.
