18 April 2018 - There is no converting a late-night creature into an early-morning creature, although in extreme cases there may be some overlap in wake times.  That is fine by me.  I am mostly a solitary sort, and enjoy roaming our domicile while everyone else sleeps.  The pre-dawn patrol is a necessary one, and I am the best suited for those early hours.  By the time that I have walked the circuit, determined our safety, had a snack, and drunk some water, I am ready to catnap until the shorter peep stirs.  It all works out nicely, through no conscious coordination on our parts... as if we were made for each other.
