13 April 2018 - Please note that I am NOT lying atop papers on the bed.  (In my defense I would add that it is hard to find a spot on the office counter that isn't covered with something.)  We cats have an undeserved "bad luck" reputation, especially the ones with black coats, so I appreciate your coming here, on Friday the 13th, to read my thoughts.  The more superstitious sorts might have kept their distance... which leads me to another myth floating around out there:  we somehow can sense those peeps who don't like cats and purposefully sidle up to them.  I can't speak for my species, but I definitely am not cozying up to anyone unless they have been vetted as devoted head-patters.
