10 March 2021 - Yesterday addressed a habit that should be shed. Today points out one of my habits worth keeping. This bit of behavior definitely doesn't date to my "out there" existence. And I don't believe either the shorter peep or myself set out to "train" the other. Nonetheless at some point in my day, although usually mid-morning, we two meet up so that I can be brushed. Initially I wasn't comfortable with the idea of being "raked", but now it is categorized as a good thing... so anticipated that even if scheduling postpones my peep's availability (honestly, why am I not her first priority?), I prod her memory: "Quit stalling, and come comb my head!"

Mika "tolerates" 6 brush strokes...I count them out loud for her so she knows it will end....lol....but then there is a treat!
