Me-usings and Me-emories

9 March 2021 - My peeps have shown no interest in my kibble (and vice versa, with the exception of yummy butter), but habits learned "out there" are hard to shake.  So far my rational brain has had no luck in overruling the emotional side:  I continue the motions of burying any leftover food.  Silly I know, since there is no useful layer of dirt in our abode to sink my claws into... and no suggesting that I hide my next meal in the litter box... not funny at all.  Carpet, tile, wood, makes no difference, I pretend to scrape some over the contents of my bowl.  These actions initially might have been misconstrued by my peeps as my comment on the fare:  interring something offensive... but now they fondly chalk it up to my idiosyncrasies.
