black and white and well-read all over

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

4 March 2021 - It is interesting what tomes are chosen for the home shelf, even more revealing if their spines have been creased.  Of course we cats are curious, although we do favor the universal language of picture books.  Somehow felines and libraries (also bookstores) have become interlinked, our recumbent bodies inviting peeps to browse and indulge the time.  Just notice the cat bookend next to me, a small version of Atlas supporting the world.  We would never speak aloud how essential we are in holding together the household, but it is known by our peeps as well.  One of the titles has underscored my concern in the yet unrealized power of those out-there interlopers:  Swarm Intelligence.  See, it isn't just my loopy idea.

word of the day - purrudite, scholarly (at least by association... and it's OK to nibble sage)
