Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

14 March 2021 - "You may never pass this way again"... well, not according to my top-flight nose.  Smells are powerful memory triggers, so I am quite certain I've encountered this particular odor somewhere before.  And since my world is this abode, whoever/whatever visited this house.  As guardian of the premises, I don't like the idea of an interloper going unnoticed.  "It was right under my nose" goes the saying for those who "can't see for looking".  Yes, blame the lapse on the senses, but of course as the possessor of these senses we do need to pay attention to them when they alarm.  Now I have to worry the gray matter until this smell is labeled and its danger ascertained.
