Me-usings and Me-emories

5 Jan 2021 - Both the shorter peep and I were glad to return to the screened porch yesterday:  by lunchtime the temperatures are lifting into "acceptable" (although my standards may be loosening).  We can adjust to midday noshing inside (and have done just that when necessary), but who doesn't enjoy dining al fresco?  Besides, among my regularly spotted interlopers (no, they are not pied) is one of my kind, and I am always on the lookout.  From the unmistakable sound of it, he is encountering yet another brother and having a territory dispute.  It is quite exciting to listen to (from afar) their arguments, but the second fella I have yet to glimpse.  I am inclined to decline a real meeting, but my curiosity is piqued.
