Me-usings and Me-emories
9 Apr 2022 - My fifth appendage serves many uses. Besides being a great barometer of my mood, whipping in anger or curled in delight, it can be used like the peeps use a scarf. Wrapped around my legs not only keeps it tucked out of the way but compensates for the scant fur on my hind quarters. When taking a nap, it can shield my eyes from sharp light or cuddle the warmth escaping through my breath. It doesn't have the surface area of a blanket, but is always handy, wherever I am. Perhaps if peeps had a furry tail, they wouldn't need to layer clothes when chilled.
