the color purrple

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

14 Apr 2022 - A tuxedo cat, accustomed to his own palette, is bombarded by the world's colors.  The retinal assault only pauses when I shut my eyes for a nap.  But mostly what captures my attention is movement... then I sharpen my focal point and seek the cause.  This time of year the flutter of leaves is often just the passage of a breeze (or gale), but that isn't always the cause... which is which I can't assume and must identify the actor.  This job of interloper-ejection requires concentration (another reason I need occasional breaks) and patience (something I'm working on).  However I can't deny that what I do is also great fun, and allows me to pretend I am king of my jungle.
