11 Apr 2022 - The start of my day is comforting in its routine.  There is no need to guess what the shorter peep is up to, although I do often wish that she moved a bit more quickly these early mornings.  But to rush her would likely slow her further... not out of perversity, but she too is just waking and to attempt more would likely overwhelm her systems.  So I help by staying from underfoot, and by not looking too impatient.  I'm not certain how successful I am on this second matter, but as peeps like to say, "it's the thought that counts."  (Of course my thoughts are yelling, "would you hurry up!")
