3 Feb 2023 - The early cat catches the trespassers!  And when I don't spot any interloper threat, I enjoy the view.  Because of my extra helping of rods and the presence of a tapetum (the thing that gives my eyes a glowing appearance in photographs), I can see much better in dim light than my peeps.  They beat me out in the detection of colors, but as you can see in the picture to the left, there are situations where black-and-white serves quite well.   Plus I am an ace at sensing motion, a great asset when patrolling the domicile... heck, if I gave a meow (which I don't), I would make an awesome goalie.
