13 Feb 2023 - Some days are best spent with eyes closed and breathing slowed, with the hope that upon awaking things will have improved.  And the strategy sorta was successful:  at least we now have full-bore sunshine, although it has its work cut out for it.  Mr. Sol's brilliance lures me onto my screened porch, but after a quick survey of the terrain I am driven back inside by cold ears and nose.  Once I am sufficiently thawed, I will return for another check, and the back-and-forth shall continue until this thing the peeps call winter is over.  Certainly a popular vote would oust this unwelcome development.
