6 Feb 2023 - When there are no interlopers on which to practice (maybe I shouldn't do such a good job?), I pretend with my stuffed replicas. The shorter peep tells me that I'm not extremely playful, to which I reply, "I am what I am." If I am not in the mood to be silly, then why fake it? Occasionally I need to expend extra energy, so I'll pounce and paw... but only if there is a need. Granted, once I am caught up in a tussle I do enjoy the fun... and the shorter peep seems likewise entertained. As a footnote, let me add that in this instance no animals were harmed in the picture-taking.
