Me-usings and Me-emories

16 Mar 2023 - Here is a tidbit from Anecdote of the Jar:  "And round it was upon a hill.  It made the slovenly wilderness surround that hill."  Yes, the "civilizing" touches of my peeps!  Since my arrival at our domicile, they have gently tried to sand away my rough edges... it is their hope that I fully attain my refined possibilities.  But of course the wildness still lurks inside, and in moments of fear or high anxiety I can feel its prehistoric tug.  And theirs is a veneer as well, although I will keep that gauche thought to myself.
