14 Mar 2023 - Did I hear the shorter peep say that today is pie day?  This cat doesn't eat pie (or cake), so I can't say the announcement ratcheted up my excitement, but maybe it's a big deal with peeps?  You would think that such a holiday would require, even demand, a celebratory pie, but no such thing has been fussed over in the kitchen or consumed to my knowledge.  This head-scratcher isn't my first when the topic involves my two, and I shan't run in circles looking for answers.  Besides I have no complaints:  I awoke to treats and breakfast, and the portal accessing my personal screened porch is open, so my life makes sense.
