Me-usings and Me-emories
8 Mar 2023 - To keep myself in tiptop readiness, I will occasionally play with the shorter peep. I know it isn't the real thing, and so I have to pretend there is an interloper threat until my reflexes kick in... then the workout is enjoyable. But initially I'm mostly "meh", so only if the shorter peep is persistent or surprising in her attacks will I take the bait, literally. And as is typical of my species, we get bored quickly. A good tussle is one in which she and I both tire at the same time, and agree, "okay, enough fun for one day!"
