13 Mar 2023 - I favor late morning (and mid-afternoon) napping.  It offers a needed break from my patrol circuits, allowing me to recharge my energy levels and equilibrate my easy-going outlook.  One has to be aware that a power-wielding job, where acceptable and unacceptable is defined, can mess with the head.  Because I can enforce my concept of right and fair, I could come to think that I speak unquestionable truth, that I in fact am the mouthpiece for truth.  Oh, kitty, that is a slippery slope you're standing on!  These naps rein in the ego, and remind me that I am just a cat, no more, no less.
