Me-usings and Me-emories
17 Nov 2023 - After our domicile has been invaded by alien peeps (and measurable time has passed since their departure), I steel my spine and inspect the premises. Even had I not heard their approach, their noisy entry, their foreign voices, I could detect their presence by the odors left behind on the furniture. If I were the gabby sort, I could tell you precisely where they sat, the surfaces their smelly bodies contacted. Instead I hold my thoughts and assure myself that they are indeed gone and that they didn't leave any other surprises behind.

I wouldn't be so sure they hadn't left anything behind....I'd say keeping a heightened patrol for a few more days is a good idea (just to be on the safe side)
