3 Nov 2023 - "Pay no attention to the meow behind the curtain."  Forget that... if you're my peep, of course I want you to notice and engage in the fun.  Why else would I hide, with tail crooked like a beckoning finger?  As the sole cat in the domicile, if I want/need a playmate, I have to convince one or the other to pause in his/her plans and indulge in mine.  It isn't the easiest sell.  It's true for my kind, and probably for theirs, that as we age, we grow more sedate, less likely to cut a caper just because.  But less likely doesn't mean never, so whaddya say to a bit of frivolous nonsense?
