11 Mar 2024 - The memo concerning the donning of bright spring colors didn't reach the upper levels of our domicile. I don't mind the sparsity of furnishings or drabness of palette: the interlopers find it difficult to hide here on this balcony. The textured thing behind me was a present from the taller peep. I appreciate the thought but truthfully don't know what I'm supposed to do with it. It has turned into a silent sentinel and keeps watch for me when I am elsewhere.

Archy is also confused about some lovely bits of furniture I've put out just for him and Hitty.....she knows what to do, but he keeps expressing his preference for the rug and making me crazy
