15 Apr 2024 - I apologize for the recent silence:  I have not felt very sociable for the past few days.  My two peeps went missing, and I've been searching the house ever since.  But the good news is that my funk is over (but not the hurt feelings), as they are now back where they should be!  No explanation was given, but their shoes smell of unfamiliar places.  I worry each time one of them slips out the back portal:  will he/she remember the way home?  will the interlopers waylay them?  Part of the upset is my inability to do much beyond pace the floor... I'm much happier managing the situation.
