24 Apr 2024 - Something just moved beyond this portal... I don't doubt my ears.  Alas, just from the sound I can't say what manner of interloper it is, although probably not that large (thankfully).  I was in the midst of a nap, quite comfortable, when my body received the insistent "wake up"... and who can sleep through that alarm?  So now I strain my senses for more information, with the hope that soon I can sound the "all's clear" and return to that dream where interlopers are easy to spot and easy to intimidate.
