15 July 2015 - Even in the middle of a Nova Scotia July I might have to resort to a pool of sunshine for warmth.  It is very true that I prefer to be baked rather than frozen, and often this summer I have had to seek some auxiliary heat source.  About half of those times the sun could not be found, and if I was lucky the shorter peep would offer me a warmed towel on which to curl.  But the last two weeks had me convinced that summer was totally in control of our temperatures... which is why this morning took me by surprise.  Perhaps I was chilled by the predawn dew, maybe I am a bit run-down...whatever the underlying cause I am feeling much better now.
