a lion's share

Me-ow-my-oh!
Me-usings and Me-emories

22 July 2015 - I have never lived in a large urban area, so I have no experience with feeling small at the feet of skyscrapers.  However Nature certainly makes me aware of my insignificance in her plan.  This admission is not to say that I am of no consequence.  But in the big picture my stone's weight barely registers in the earth's total biomass.  I am a grain of sand on the beach...lovely and unique and outnumbered.  Maybe that is why my king cousin roars at the jungle:  to grab the attention of any and all lest he be overlooked or underestimated.  We felines deserve, and expect, recognition.
