my kind of rapture

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

5 July 2015 - The peace and quiet of a Sunday morning is best celebrated by savoring a late breakfast.  If you wish to prolong the good feeling, I would skip the first two sections of the newspaper and start with the comics, then follow up with a crossword puzzle.  For you late-night types, a jolt of caffeine is suggested to jumpstart the day...should you want it to begin before afternoon.  And on a Sunday, that truly is a question.  I am by nature a pre-dawn rambler who compensates with an afternoon nap (or two).  So lying in is only possible if I am drugged or ill...and I am neither.  So I have been up for hours, waiting for the peeps to stir.  Then we three can do brunch:  the family that chews together, grows together (which rhymes if said in Chaucerian English).
