Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

11 July 2015 - There are so many good observation posts around the lake house, that once the weather stabilizes I can typically be found outside.  Just today I watched a carapaced teep sunning itself on an exposed rock...it might still be there if the shorter peep had not joined me and startled it back into the water.  And that is just the beginning of the wildlife that flits or scampers through.  Although it has eluded the eyes of my peeps, there is a large big-eared ungulate that quietly appears in the yard and then vanishes back into the trees, lured by the young hosta shoots.  Mostly I sit on my haunches and watch the entertainment, perhaps stir my tail.  Without cable reception, it's the best show in the house.
