5 August 2018 - Although I love the sunshine, I am best at my job when the light begins to fail.  Blending into the shadows is a handy trick when one is trying to be clandestine.  If I were not so compelled to keep my whites white, I would truly disappear into the background.  We cats are well known for our quiet walk, and that ability serves us as well as the silent flight of beep predators.  I am relieved, speaking as one midway on the food chain, that nothing (at least in these parts) will swoop down from the sky and snatch me from my work.
