10 August 2018 - Our lake-side deck feels somewhat like a tree house, at eye-level with much beep activity.  One isn't aware of the height until on the ground, looking up.  Even the taller peep can walk underneath without stooping.  There is a story told about one of the earlier cat sentries of this property, who in his eagerness to apprehend a squeep, launched himself off the deck into thin air, as they say.  I am confident that he landed on his feet, a tad wiser.
