28 August 2018 - Bastet has paused in her busy schedule to grant us another summer day, and for her benevolence I am most grateful.  I am so pleased that I would take the day off but unfortunately can not (see yesterday's ramblings).  The next best thing is to remain outdoors for both work and breaks.  Here I am doing the former... it may look like the latter, but the guise is a clever one to fool the local interlopers.  Speaking of, I gave the shorter peep a start last evening when I dashed across the darkened yard and hid behind the bushes (yes, we cats have a sense of humor).
