19 March 2019 - I sympathize with those facing an imminent deadline.  And how threatening is the choice of word... as if your very life is on the line!  No pressure there, indeed.  Suggestions can be difficult enough to accommodate, but most of us push back when a threat is issued.  Even calm, collected moi gets huffy when demands are made (not that my peeps would do such a thing... they practice kindly and so-they-think clever coercion).  My advice, take it or leave it, is to reward the reasonable requests and renege on the rest.  Let's reserve "emergency" for the real thing.
