17 March 2019 - Technically I am not wearing the green, but at least as a background color I am saluting my Irish friends.  Don't you think it brings out the jade in my irises??  Like myself my peeps consider themselves of the mongrel sort... personally I think we are the stronger because of our diverse backgrounds (have you noticed the crossed eyes of some of my "pure" kindred?).  This porch is one of the few spots where I can conduct a stakeout of our southern flank, and of course any assignment that involves full sun is hardly work at all.  It offers concealment and elevation, and the back entry is handy should things escalate toward scary.  As you can see, I give careful consideration to where I should plop down.
