30 March 2019 - I realize that I am not the only creature enjoying the return of spring:  our yard has had numerous trespassers of late, nothing serious, most merely passing through... but I do think that we have a family of large hoofed things squatting in the sinkhole.  Did I mention large?  My contract is quite specific about the size of my duties, and outweighing me by a factor of ten is clearly beyond my bouncer responsibilities.  I have made my peeps aware of this intrusion, and will continue to monitor (from afar) the situation... but other than munching on the landscape (which is alright by me) they really don't pose a threat.  I am far more concerned about some of my kind that have appeared in the neighborhood.
