7 Jun 2021 - One of the frustrations in my line of work is hearing an interloper but not being able to make eye contact. Spotting the enemy through glass ups my intimidation factor, and often little else is required. But if my presence can't be inserted, then the intruder holds its ground. Sending mental thoughts of "show yourself, coward!" only vents my pent emotions... which isn't a bad thing. But I must continue listening to the scritches on the roof or pecks on the eave, amplifying my irritation at being ineffective. There is always tomorrow to send it running.
