Me-usings and Me-emories
1 Jul 2021 - I think a more apt title for this photograph is "waiting for oatmeow", since it foremost in the shorter peep's breakfast menu tries my patience. I suppose I could eat without her, but a good deal of the early morning enjoyment is the social aspect. And she has gone without food longer than I, so I shouldn't grumble aloud... but are comparisons between different species even valid? One would have to weigh the most recent calorie intake and metabolic rate and activity level in the interim and energy reserves, which are more details than I wish to juggle, even if I had pencil and paper. I will just keep my thoughts to myself, and stare pleadingly into the kitchen. I'm sure she will get the message.
