Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

14 Jul 2021 - Cats can swivel their heads to a greater degree than peeps, but even so the view pictured is not one that I can see.  From directly overhead I am a black shadow.  Combined with a moonless night, I could stealth through our woods without alerting any creatures perched in the trees.  And notice the sinuous curves from crown to tip of tail, a softness that hides the muscles beneath.  Even my fleshier brethren, sated on ever-available kibble, can surprise an on-looker with their speed and agility.    Sprinting is our choice of race.  I would be much faster if there weren't so many slick floors in our house.

Leave them with a good impression.

Catty Corner

word of the day - luxpurrious, extremely elegant (who wouldn't look good in a tuxedo?)
