15 Jul 2021 - "Dappled" is such a beguiling term, that I tried it on... but I emerged from my bower looking the same as when I plopped down. The experiment may have failed, but I still enjoyed my time on the porch, scanning for interlopers. This moment of sunshine actually was in the minority yesterday: every cloud that scuttled over felt gravity's pull, and dumped water on us. But all this wetness is keeping the green in our surrounding woods and moderating the afternoon highs. The latter isn't a high priority with me, but my peeps seem happier.
