6 Jul 2021 - Catfucious say "moderation in all things."  So, no, I don't have to be on the furthest step or highest rung.  To my way of thinking, middle ground actually gives me more security, since I'm comfortably removed from an assault at either end.  A cat's preference for elevation is satisfied, even with a halfway compromise.  This set of stairs pictured is part of a favorite circuit, and when I'm in top gear my feet don't touch the treads (at least when descending).  This flying leap is quite a departure from my cautious tiptoe explorations of a year ago.  Who knows, I might even consider wearing a cape, at least for a victory lap.
