18 Jul 2023 - It stands to reason that if I deem it a good hiding spot, so will an interloper, a bit of thinking like the enemy. My job has me sticking my nose in all manner of dark, dank, smelly places... the kit in me loves it! Here in the hinterland the number of trespassers I'm finding inside our domicile far surpasses the southerly figures: we have traveled to the wet, wild, and wooly woodlands! That surprising fact means that, where before I could slack off during my breaks, I must maintain a high level of alertness, lest one of the impudent ne'er-do-wells runs right across my whiskers.
